Intro to Photography

Have you recently purchased or thinking about purchasing an underwater camera? Just Breathe Scuba has years of experience in capturing precious moments Underwater. Allow us to guide you into your decision-making process by explaining what cameras can and can’t do in an underwater environment. This is an Academic class.

Underwater Photography I

This course is the foundation of underwater photography. This course covers Camera setup and function. We will also cover lighting that includes natural lighting, strobes and video lights. Just Breathe Scuba will teach you how to determine the proper setup and environment to capture an underwater photo. This Certification will include 4 hours of Academics and 2 dives in an underwater environment to help capture a professional looking photo that will be the foundation of underwater memories.

Underwater Photography II

This course will separate you from the normal underwater photos that your friends share on a dive trip. This course is designed to understand underwater art and learn how we capture Magazine quality underwater photos even with a base model camera. This course is for students who have master diver level buoyancy and control. This certification will include 4 hours of Academics and 3 dives in a clearwater environment. This course is best taken as an added feature on one of Just Breathe Scuba Adventures Dive Trips.

Basic Photo Editing

Let Just Breathe Scuba teach you how to enhance you already good underwater photo and turn it into a magazine style photo. We will also teach you how to salvage photos that aren’t that eye appealing with an emphasis on black and white or abstract art. This will cover usage of Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.
